A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

A brief summary of how I started my journey into the filmmaking world 😉

WHO AM I?

I began my career in 2009 as a technical assistant in the college department of video editing. In this role, I helped freshman students navigate Adobe Premiere and provided technical support to ensure their projects were completed successfully.

After that, in 2011, I worked as a content writer for advertising in a computer school. Within the same company, I moved to video creation and worked alongside professors to create engaging content for YouTube. In 2014, I moved to a company focused solely on video production. In this role, I began doing video presentations for live events, as well as mapped projection.

Throughout my career, I have gained a wealth of experience in the content creation industry. I pride myself on being a reliable and efficient team member, always striving to produce work of the highest quality. I have great organizational skills and am able to work with minimal supervision while maintaining commitment to exceeding clients’ expectations regarding the quality and timing of the videos I deliver.

MY SERVICES AS A FREELANCER INCLUDES

I offer all the steps required to make a motion design video. You may choose all the steps below therefore I will provide you with the whole video or just some steps of the production. You are the boss 😉

Concept

Who is the target? What’s the objective of the video? This is where an idea is formed and the foundation of your video is set.

Script

A good idea needs a beginning, a middle and a conclusion. The script then serves as the narration and description of your story, allowing you to read the wording that will inspire your audience to listen, interpret and take action.

Storyboard

Hand-drawn images for each scene in the script, giving you the full picture before we bring the scenes to life. The Storyboard helps you visualize the characters, icons, and environments.

Art and Style

The sketches of the storyboard gets the coloring, shading, texture and every fine detail that makes up the visual identity of your video. The visual style must appeal to your interests as well as to your brand.

Voiceover

Demos and samples from a pool of voiceover artists from all over the world, finding the perfect match in terms of tone, delivery, cadence and personality in order to deliver your message in the best way possible.

Animation

It’s time to bring the art and style to life by putting all graphics into motion, while finding the perfect pace and rhythm to match the voiceover.

Editing

Here, animation is synched with the sounds. Using the best matching sound effects that complement your story, along with a music track that helps maintain the overall tone and feel of your piece.

Completion

Time to press play and make final adjustments. The video is converted into the best file formats that suit your needs. From 4K projection to Whatsapp.

EDUCATION

2008-2012

Major in Communication, minor in Radio and Television Production

UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista

The University provided the foundation of theoretical knowledge in the processes of communication, stimulating the creation of possibilities of cultural and artistic expression through the languages and techniques of Radio and Television; in addition to theoretical studies, the school provided the basis for the aesthetic resources of the audiovisual production (sound design, graphic planning, editing, computer graphics, cultural production, etc.).

During the four years in the university environment, I had the opportunity to work in the creation of several short films in the most diverse areas of audiovisual production.

During 8 months I had the opportunity to put my knowledge in English to the test, attending as a sophomore in a city in the countryside of Texas. There, I had full immersion in the English language and also, ventured into the photography and chess clubs. I curried advanced credit matters and no grade was below A- (90/100)

Cultura Inglesa

Cultura Inglesa is considered the best English language school in Brazil.
I began my English language studies as I was 8 years old, in KIDS 1 module of Cultura Inglesa and continued there until I was 14, in Upper Intermediate. The entire grammar base helped me to fulfil the dream of attending the sophomore year in a high school in the United States and, thus further develop my conversation skills.

In this role I partnered with other designers, copywriters and PPC specialists to create engaging ads for all the schools on the group. Focusing ads on Meta, Google and Tiktok.

Small company, but with big clients; we provided services for Blizzard Latin America and PUBG Coorporation. I was responsible for review copywriting and art direction of each video, as well as working as motion designer. I created and implemented concepts, guidelines and
strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to full completion.

Technician responsible for the University’s Lab of Audio-Visual and Television Studio facilities; Maintenance of the computers, monitor the students and minister workshops of video edition. I also worked in the TV studio assisting as cameraman and video switcher.
